Trial Dates: Sunday November 29th (postponed due to heat), Sunday December 6th & Sunday December 13th

State Championship 8th-11th July hosted by Parkes HA, Parkes.

• To be selected in a Sydney South Hockey Association representative team individuals need to attend trials and participate in the trial process.  Trials will be conducted according to the Sydney South Hockey Association Representative Selection Policy.
• The Sydney South Hockey Association Representative Program will require ALL successful players to attend training sessions, trial matches, weekend carnivals and the State Championships for the age that they have nominated for.  All Sydney South Hockey players selected in the 1^st team MUST attend the relevant State Championships as a pre-requisite of their selection.

• Approximate Cost for Representative program will cover:

  Field hire for training, entry fee to carnival (3-4 possibly) & state championship, umpire payment for carnivals (3-4 possibly)and state championship & accommodation at State Championships for the teams that stay together, Illawarra Competition (U15 & U18 girls and boys teams TBA) and field hire at championships. There may also be one or two additional carnivals at a small additional cost per player.

  This cost in the past has been somewhere between $500-$700.

  If you are unable to pay your representative fees the Association is happy to talk about a payment plan for you to do this.

  In 2021 we will endeavour to attend as many carnivals as we can and these will include local Association carnivals to support our fellow associations, inter-state carnivals, ACT 3 day carnival and State Championships.
